A journalist need information about a certain backpack brand and he sends out message on HARO needing more information. If you are subscribed to HARO then you will receive email about it. And then write back to that reporter about backpack information he requires. That reporter might link back to your blog which is a win-win for both. He gets credible information while you get a quality backlink.
Q: Wait, so if I am already receiving emails from HARO, why do I need your service?
Because HARO sends many emails daily and each email may contain multiple messages. So, you receive hundreds of messages daily. Typically, you will receive messages on various subjects such as affordable travel, HVAC, cancer, backpacks, pharmacy technician etc. And it is not easy to go through each message and see if there is anything relevant to you.
This is where BackTagger comes in. You just enter relevant keywords in your profile and we will monitor and send alert as soon as that keyword is found in any HARO message.
Q: Does that mean you will ask me about HARO email/password so you can monitor email for keywords?
No. We don't need your email/password as we are also subscribed to HARO and receive the same emails like others.
Q: How often will I receive alerts?
As soon as we receive it from HARO. Typically, HARO sends email three times a day, from Monday to Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and any holidays.
Q: Will I also receive alerts on Telegram?
Yes, if you have setup your Telegram username in your profile, then our system will also send alert on Telegram in addition to email.
